What we don't do. Escrow

An escrow agent acts as a neutral party in the transaction to hold transaction funds without preference for any one interest and disburses these funds based on a closing statement, IMFPA, or disbursement authorization signed by all stakeholders.

The Paymaster facilitates payments after the transaction is completed and assists one party in disbursing funds to other vendors or brokers not involved in the primary transaction.

A paymaster is not an escrow agent and does not operate in a fiduciary capacity.

What we do. Paymaster Services

A paymaster acts as a neutral third party responsible for receiving and distributing funds in large transactions. Their primary role is to assist parties involved in the transaction meet their payment obligations.

Adding this additional safeguard allows the transaction payments to be safely and efficiently sent. When big money is at play, paymasters act as a neutral third party to assist in finalizing the transaction.

Southern Logistics Financial, Inc. receives funds based on an invoice which has previously been approved by the buyer. The buyer approves the paymaster agreement authorizing the release of funds to the agent.

We do not investigate nor do we provide any type of due diligence. Such tasks are the responsibility of the buyer.
